In the Thyroid Workshop, the participants learned about the basics of ultrasound, different types of ultrasound machines and how they work, the different approaches to venous access in ultrasound guided procedures, and went on to refamiliarise themselves with normal thyroid anatomy, the USG and Cytological classification of thyroid nodules, its other pathologies, neck lesions and how to assess lymph nodes.
