Lung
The Lung Workshop was a one-day focused program designed to enhance participants’ understanding of lung ultrasound and its role in clinical decision-making. The day began with an introduction to the significance of ultrasound in medicine, followed by sessions on the BLUE Protocol, IV access, and IVC assessment, emphasizing their applications in point-of-care and emergency settings.
After a short break, participants revisited the basics of ultrasound physics and knobology, exploring key parameters for image optimization, and continued with an introduction to the use of Doppler in lung ultrasound. The afternoon was dedicated to extensive hands-on practice, allowing participants to apply the morning’s theoretical knowledge through guided scanning and procedural exercises.
By the end of the workshop, attendees had gained a strong foundation in lung ultrasound interpretation and procedural guidance, equipping them with practical skills applicable in a wide range of clinical contexts.
