Regional Anaesthesia (Advanced)
The Advanced Regional Anaesthesia Workshop was a one-day course that built upon the foundational skills of the previous session, delving deeper into advanced ultrasound concepts and complex nerve block techniques. The program began with a review of advanced ultrasound principles and regional anatomy, followed by in-depth theoretical discussions on facial, cervical, and truncal nerve blocks—including zygomatic, facial, trigeminal, and adductor canal blocks.
Participants then engaged in extensive hands-on probe sessions focused on the facial and knee regions, gaining practical experience in precise scanning and needle guidance. The afternoon continued with advanced blocks such as PENG, QL, facet, and erector spinae, integrating both theory and practice.
The workshop concluded with a comprehensive practical session and certificate presentation, leaving participants confident in performing a wider range of ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia procedures with accuracy and confidence.
